Valeriana pyrenaica

Valeriana pyrenaica has domed heads made up of tiny pinkish mauve flowers in May and June , held aloft on tall upright sturdy stems. Once settled it does happily seed about. It is a beautiful early Summer perennial and combines well with knautias, lupins and opium poppies.
