Symphyotrichum ‘Ice Cool Pink’

We acquired this from Graham Gough of  Marchants Hardy Plants (who raised it) and it has rapidly become one of our favourite pink Asters.  Well behaved, forming tight clumps (not a rampant spreader) which from mid-September onwards are smothered in lilac-pink flowers with a yellow eye.  Tall at 1-1.3m, however it is very strongly upright and we have never had to stake it.  Highly recommended.
