Niwaki Loppers
Traditional Japanese lopping shears with big strong forged blades and stout oak handles. No need for squidgy shock absorbers – the oak handles take care of that. A very pleasing action of properly forged carbon steel at work. Suitable for branches up to 2.5cm/1″, although as some species are harder than others this is only a guide, and common sense should tell you when to stop… and cut bigger branches at a 45˚angle.
Keep them in clean, oiled and sharp with crean mate, camellia oil and our Niwaki sharpening stone.
